My passion: racing pigeons
I have excellent results since decades with the same strain at the
national races!
I have achieved this with descendants of all the best pigeons of
my late father Jef Schellekens, among others: "Donkere Dax", "Ocana", "De Radar" (1st Nat. Pau), "De Zwarte Adelaar" (1st Nat.
St. Vincent), etc.. |

The present top breeders are at
Bavel:
"Zwarte Barcelona I", "Zwarte Barcelona II" and "Zwarte Barcelona
III". These are three full brothers and grandchildren of the famous
"Ocana" and "Zwarte Yvonne", 1st International Barcelona Hens
1978.
Other famous birds nowadays on the loft are "The Golden
Crack-Quartet", long distance races of the fondclub Zuid-Nederland
(4000 members):
- 1st Golden Crack: "Blauwe Tik" NL90-0026735
- 3rd Golden Crack: "De Sproete" NL89-8955137
- 4rd Golden Crack: "Janine" NL91-9134391
- 6th Golden Crack: "Bontje Marseille" NL91-9134405
"Janine" and "Bontje Marseille" won in 1993 also the
Grand Prix Z.L.U., which is a prestigeous competition
between the best long distance racers from Holland concerning the
races Barcelona, Marseille and Perpignan.
