Fokker tails all over the place ......

The following pictures are all black and white productions from the mid sixties, when De Havilland DH82a Tiger Moths were used for banner (and glider) towing in The Netherlands. Most Tigers were pensioned off by the government civil training school (registrations as PH-UA...) but als from the National Flying School (Nationale Luchtvaart School). Some pictures still show the aircraft in flying school outfit. All of them have the (in)famous beddenplank or Fokker tail.

A long time ago, an article appeared in (we believe) Avia magazine, a Dutch aviation publication, by the hand of the aeronautical engineer who took part in the flight tests for the Fokker tail. We found the article, and even some more. As soon as we complete translation we will post it on this site.
