These three tracks, and the one that follows, come
from the Mothers' album Uncle Meat. Said The
New York Times: "Compared to The Mothers of
Invention, such earlier big-beat groups as The
Beatles and The Rolling Stones emerge as
Boy Scouts with electric guitars.
"The father (or Dada) of the group is 27 year-old
Frank Zappa, a spindly framed, sharp-nosed
gamester whose appearance suggests same of
the more sinister aspects of Edgar Allen Poe……
In truth, Mr. Zappa is no more sinister than a cultural revolutionary bent on overthrowing every rule in the music book."
Mr. Zappa and his family reside in Southern California, nearby his own Bizarre Productians offices, home of such other acts as the GTOs, Wild Man Fischer, and the late Lenny Bruce.
