Spares, bits and pieces

Support for Moths
Over the years we have gathered a lot of bits and pieces. We stock all types of gaskets, washers, nuts and seals for our own operation. In addition there are surplus parts as ignition materials, a non-impulse magneto, a fuel tank, rudder, sets of elevators, landing gear bits, spare engine, etc. In the past we have been able to help out other Moths and Gipsy-engined aircraft operators. If you operate in our area, and you are in need for a particular part, we may be able to help you or direct you to other sources.
If you visit the website of the de Havilland Moth Club, you will find in the Moth Service Register worldwide suppliers of materials, part and services.
Moreover, if you have spares on offer, or you are looking for particular things, feel free to post a notice on our Moth Message Board

Information wanted!!!
Our technical advisor, Aad Schenk, who has been around Moths for most of this life,  and enjoys maintenancing the real thing, is a keen builder of 1:7 models, which are so accurately copied, that you would not know the difference from a picture. Even to the smallest detail all parts move. Apart from a line of Tiger Moths (finished and under construction) Aad is working on a Dominie. In order to assist other builders of models, Aad intends to compile a book of details. Although he has gathered numerous pictures and drawings over the years, he is still looking for more information, in particular photographic details of the Tiger Moth structure. E.g. close-ups of the slat controls which are apparently different in civilan and military Moths, drawing and/or pictures of floats, the reinforcement of the structure when using floats, etc. etc. Can you help?
P.S. Those who reacted, lots of thanks, we will keep you informed !!
