Flying Wires is the
name of the flying group operating DH82A Tiger Moth G-AJHS. At present,
the group has 8 members. The group was founded in June 1998. The members
are all directly or indirectly "heavily" involved in aviation. Ranging
from captaining a B747 to glider or motor plane owner to (chief) flying
instructor to staff positions in airport engineering or aircraft maintenance
to keen students and graduates for the CPL.
Flying Wires is basically
fuelled by an unlimited enthousiasm for aviation in general and for the
Tiger Moth in particular. We care for our aircraft, but we also fly our
aircraft, on a regular basis and, apart from short winter-maintenance stops,
all year round.
In spring 2000 three partners added Tiger Moth PH-CSL to the de Havilland fleet at Seppe airfield.
Although at this moment
we have no openings for applicants to join our flying group, you may express
your interest in flying Tiger Moths.
Perhaps a vacancy
may arise or we can give you further advise. Contact us via our e-mail
address.
Also, if you are interested
to start your own flying group or purchase a Tiger Moth for your self,
please call on us. We are only too happy to be able to support the preservation
and flying of this beautiful machine.
