Shield.
This shield is constructed of wood and thin cardboard (the type which serialpackages are made of). You make a rectangle of some wood. I just glued some left-over balsa-strips together. The cut out some thin strips of cardboard and glue them to the edges (see pic). The rivets are the heads of some needles used for fixing clothes and stuff. I just cut of the heads, leaving a small piece of the actual needle still there, so I would have something to stick it in the cardboard with. First put them in the place you want them and press it in a little, so you'll have a little hole in the cardboard which makes glueing it in place easier. Then just superglue the needle-tips into place.

This can be done for for any type of shield, it's just that a rectangular or square shield is easier, so I took that as an example. All that this shield needs now is a few layers of paint to make it something special.
